BAGSTER is now offering its innovative alternative to dumpster rental in the greater Miami-Dade area. The BAGSTER Dumpster-in-a-Bag™ offers the strength of a steel dumpster — with a capacity of 3,300 pounds — in a convenient and affordable woven polypropylene bag. BAGSTER is ideal for smaller home improvement projects, landscaping, moving preparation, and home cleanup projects. BAGSTER is available in many convenient locations such as The Home Depot and ACE, as well as self-storage centers, equipment rental centers, and truck rental facilities. To represent BAGSTER with our retail partners in Southeastern Florida. The position of Field Retailer Representative is Part-Time and flexible. Primary responsibilities are visiting our retailers on a regular basis to provide product knowledge to store associates and ensure proper product merchandising, as well as representing BAGSTER at store events for vendors and customers.
- Maintain consistent and highly visible presence in retail stores throughout Southeastern Florida.
- Interact with all store employees and take advantage of all opportunities to provide product knowledge. Answer questions about the product. Articulate advantages and uses of the product.
- Make contact with as many people within the store as possible.
- Build relationships with store personnel.
- Distribute sales/marketing literature and collateral.
- Maintain a consistent store visit schedule.
- Travel throughout Southeastern Florida to visit our retail partners (approximately 1 visit per store per week).
- Ensure that product has been properly received and displayed in correct locations.
- Determine timing and opportunity to participate in store level events and training.
- Participate in store events taking advantage of BAGSTER tent, looping videos, demonstration product, and truck and crane demonstration.
- Upon completion of each work day, input of activity into our Salesforce.com software system.
- Undertake and perform special projects and assignments as necessary.
- Works under the close supervision of Local Operations Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities.
- Sufficient education and work experience to function effectively on an independent basis and to convey confidence and friendliness to our retail partners.
- Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.
- Experience in retail sales & merchandising.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, with reliable transportation.
- Willingness to drive personal vehicle throughout the greater Miami-Dade area. No overnight travel necessary.
- Ability to operate a personal computer with proficiency in Windows-based software including Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish languages.
$15 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
